FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you sell both natural and lab-grown diamonds?

Yes. We offer a wide range of certified natural diamonds and lab-grown diamonds, each with full grading certificates. Our consultants can explain the differences so you can choose the diamond that best suits your style and budget.

Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are 100% real diamonds with the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as natural diamonds. They are simply grown in a controlled environment rather than mined from the earth.

What is the difference between lab-grown and natural diamonds?

The difference lies in their origin, not their composition. Natural diamonds form underground over billions of years, while lab-grown diamonds are created using advanced technology. Both can be graded by GIA, IGI, or other leading labs.

Do your diamonds come with certificates?

Yes. All our loose diamonds, natural and lab-grown, come with a GIA, IGI, or equivalent laboratory certificate. Each diamond is laser-inscribed with its unique certificate number.

Can I view diamonds in person?

Yes. You can visit our Cape Town showroom to view diamonds in person. Walk-ins are welcome, however we recommend booking an appointment for personalised one-on-one assistance.

Do you have ready-made engagement rings in stock?

Yes. We offer a curated selection of ready-to-wear engagement rings, wedding bands, and fine jewellery available in our showroom and ready to purchase immediately.

Can I design my own engagement ring?

Absolutely. As one of the best jewellers in Cape Town, custom-designed rings and bespoke designs are one of our specialties. You’ll work closely with our designers to bring your idea to life from concept, to CAD design, to the finished piece.

How long does a custom engagement ring take?

Most custom rings take 7-10 working days depending on the design complexity and stone availability. More intricate or multi-stone designs may take slightly longer.

What is the custom design process?
  1. Consultation - Let us know what you have in mind.
  2. Receive a quote - We’ll  send you a quotation based on the design and stone specifications that you have given us.
  3. Approve your quotation - Time to finalize your order.
  4. CAD design & approval - Once your ring has been designed by our in-house jewellery designer, we will send you a photo-realistic rendering of what your ring will look like once completed. If you have any tweaks or changes to the design - we will make them for you.
  5. Production of your ring - We print a 3D wax mould of your design that you have approved and then we cast and finish it in the desired metal. Production will take approximately 10-14 working days.
  6. Receive your ring - Our favourite step of them all - the step where we get to deliver or hand over your completed ring!
Can I see the design before it is made?

Yes. We provide detailed CAD renders and a 3D printed wax mould before manufacturing begins.

Can you remake or redesign an old ring?

Yes. We can remodel sentimental jewellery into a new design by crediting your old gold and using your stones, depending on their condition and size.

How long does resizing take?

Simple resizes take 1-3 working days. More complex settings may take longer.
